The firm was purchased in 1974 by Fred Wittkop PE to provide the first design/build electrical service in our operating area. At the time of purchase, the firm employed two electricians and owned two service vans. Today, 45 years later, the firm is family owned, managed by the second generation with 55 team members, 30 service vans, 3 bucket trucks, and 5 shop delivery trucks.

Builder’s Electric is a 100% locally owned and family operated business. As an established member of our community, we have built an excellent reputation working with some of the area’s most prominent businesses. We are a full service electrical contractor with extensive experience completing residential, commercial, and industrial projects of all sizes.
